List of Courses Offered at University of Seychelles (UniSey)

The University of Seychelles, UniSey is a fast-growing knowledge hub in the Indian Ocean.  UniSey is a young academic and research institution which offers its students high quality programmes, a vibrant university life, and an opportunity for its international students to gain a first-hand experience of life on a tropic island in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Although it is young, it already shows a maturity of approach and enjoys a growing reputation.

The university has two campuses and students are taught by highly experienced academics, some of which have worked in several universities around the world.  Both campuses are based on the Mahé island.  The  main campus is at Anse Royale and the Mont Fleuri campus is home to the India – Seychelles Centre for Excellence in Information and Communication Technology.

UniSey has established research institutes which work closely with the faculties to promote research activities and forge links with organisations of similar interests.

The Faculty of Arts and Social Development

The faculty has two clear objectives of teaching and researching in the main areas of languages, culture, heritage, media, education, healthcare, social development and IT.

Being a new faculty, the faculty embarks on the objectives above with the eyes focused on a future filled with hope and ambition, and the assurance that the students and partners discover the academic force and research capacities.

Research Institutes

Faculty of Business and Sustainable Development

Since its inception in 2009, the Faculty has experienced relentless rapid growth in terms of its student and staff numbers, portfolio of activities and reputation. In its first year, the faculty consisted of eight staff members and under thirty students. Now, those numbers have increased to about 24 and 150, respectively.The Faculty started off by delivering only undergraduate programmes in partnership with the University of London, but has now offer some of its own undergraduate and post-graduate programmes, and has published a number of studies in the field of marine science, staged conferences, entered into strategic alliances with over fifteen local and international academic and research institutions and is regularly invited to a host of decision-making forums, both locally and abroad.
