Newgiza University Application Requirements, Deadlines and Fees 2020

Newgiza University (NGU) is a multidisciplinary private university in Cairo, Egypt. Application Requirements: 

To apply for admission to NDU, follow the following simple steps:

1. Fill the Online Application.
2. Pay Application Fees: To proceed with your application please note that you need to pay the non-refundable application fees with the amount of 1500 EGP . You can make the application fees payment through a cash bank deposit or transfer at NGU bank account as per the details sent to you. Please note that your application will not be processed until we receive your application fees.
3. Submit Required Documents:

Submit all your academic and non-academic required documents, along with your English Test Scores. You can send scanned copies and all originals will be requested upon your provisional acceptance. The required documents for your degree include the following:

• Health & Sciences schools, student to submit minimum percentage required for the
  chosen major (Science section).

Business & Finance School, student to submit minimum percentage required for the
chosen major (Science or Literary section).

2. IGCSE/GCSE/GCE British Certificate:

MOHE conditions and certificate requirements:
• The Student has to pass 12 years in School.
• IGCSE students applying for joining universities must be passing in 8 IGCSE OL
Subjects with a minimum grade of C , and subjects must be studied as Extended not as a
core curriculum. The 8 subjects are selected from the last four years before joining the
university.
• OL subjects not including Religion – Arabic 2nd language – physical education-Yearbook
Music.
• English language and English literature could be counted within the 8 OLs as 2 separate
subjects.
The requirements are as follow (not repeated subjects):
• 8 O level Subjects
• Or 6 O level and 2 AS level
• Or 4 O level and 4 AS level
• Or 7 O level and 1 A level
1) For Medical School, subjects must include the following qualifying 5
subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English.
2) For Business & Finance the qualifying subjects are: Mathematics & English.

 MOHE conditions and certificate requirements:
A) Students must pass in the main 6 subjects including the English Language.
B) Students must study at least 3 subjects at a high level from the 6 subjects.
C) Students must complete the additional requirements related to granting this certificate:
 The extended essay.
 Theory of Knowledge.
D) Students must complete the admission requirements and the main qualifying subjects for
each faculty putting in consideration the following:
 For the medical schools (Medicine, Dentistry & Pharmacy), the student must study
Biology & Chemistry at a high level in addition to English (HL or SL) & Math (HL or
SL).
 For the theoretical schools (Business & Finance), the student must study English (HL
or SL) and Mathematics (HL or SL) and any other theoretical or practical subjects.
* The percentage for the IB certificate is calculated as follow:

4. German Abitur.

MOHE Conditions and certificate requirements:
• The Student has to submit the Certificate, the grades and the Key (six papers).
• The Student has to pass 12 years in School
• Seven Subjects from Grade 10, 11 and 12 (the required subjects for the Medical Field
are Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English and for the Non-Medical are
English & Mathematics)
• The Abitur Certificate consists of Grade 11 and 12, but the calculation is from Grade 10,
11 and 12.
• The requirements are as follows: one Subject can be taken from Grade 10 and the
remaining subjects are from Grade 11 and 12 (Abitur Certificate).
• Each Subject has a point and this point is converted to a percentage from the Key.
• The Highest 3 Subjects in the Abitur are considered as Advanced Subjects and 15 points
are added to each subject’s percentage.

5. French Baccalaureate.

MOHE Conditions and certificate requirements:
• The Student has to pass 12 years in School.
• The Student has to pass at least seven subjects; each subject has its own coefficient
and note. A combination of the qualifying subjects plus the remaining subjects should
be
calculated and we choose the highest percentage. We exclude the Arabic,
ED.PHYS.SPORT, TRAV PERS ENC and any subject without coefficient.
• The Qualifying subjects for the Medical School are SC.VIE TERRE, Physique, Chimie,
Mathematique and Anglais.
• The Qualifying subjects for the school of Business & Finance is Mathematique and
Anglais.
• Each subject is calculated using this equation :

6. American High School Diploma.

MOHE conditions and certificate requirements:
A) Students must pass in at least 8 subjects with one credit each & 40% is taken from them.
B) Students must submit a minimum score of SAT 1 (New) 800 (out of 1600), 60% is taken if
below 1090 and if the score is equal to 1090 or above then 75% is taken.
C) If SAT 2 is taken and the score is 900 (out of 1600) or above then 15% will be added.
2- Admission requirements for the medical schools (Medicine, Dentistry &
Pharmacy) and the theoretical schools (Business & Finance):
A) For the medical school, the 8 subjects must include the following 5 qualifying subjects:
Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & English.
B) For the theoretical schools, the 8 subjects must include the qualifying subjects which
are Mathematics & English.

MOHE conditions and certificate requirements:
 General requirement: Students must have successfully completed eight different
subjects (including the qualifying subjects) in grade 10-11 and 12. subjects less than
one credit system are not accepted. max 3 subjects from grade 11 and 5 subjects
from grade 12. Subjects such as physical education, music and yearbook are
excluded.
 For Medical School, subjects must include the following qualifying 5 subjects:
Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English.
 For Business & Finance the qualifying subjects are: Mathematics & English.
