MOHE conditions and certificate requirements:
• The Student has to pass 12 years in School.
• IGCSE students applying for joining universities must be passing in 8 IGCSE OL
Subjects with a minimum grade of C , and subjects must be studied as Extended not as a
core curriculum. The 8 subjects are selected from the last four years before joining the
university.
• OL subjects not including Religion – Arabic 2nd language – physical education-Yearbook
Music.
• English language and English literature could be counted within the 8 OLs as 2 separate
subjects.
The requirements are as follow (not repeated subjects):
• 8 O level Subjects
• Or 6 O level and 2 AS level
• Or 4 O level and 4 AS level
• Or 7 O level and 1 A level
1) For Medical School, subjects must include the following qualifying 5
subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English.

D) Students must complete the admission requirements and the main qualifying subjects for
each faculty putting in consideration the following:
 For the medical schools (Medicine, Dentistry & Pharmacy), the student must study
Biology & Chemistry at a high level in addition to English (HL or SL) & Math (HL or
SL).
 For the theoretical schools (Business & Finance), the student must study English (HL
or SL) and Mathematics (HL or SL) and any other theoretical or practical subjects.

4. German Abitur.

MOHE Conditions and certificate requirements:
• The Student has to submit the Certificate, the grades and the Key (six papers).
• The Student has to pass 12 years in School
• Seven Subjects from Grade 10, 11 and 12 (the required subjects for the Medical Field
are Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English and for the Non-Medical are
English & Mathematics)
• The Abitur Certificate consists of Grade 11 and 12, but the calculation is from Grade 10,
11 and 12.
• The requirements are as follows: one Subject can be taken from Grade 10 and the
remaining subjects are from Grade 11 and 12 (Abitur Certificate).
• Each Subject has a point and this point is converted to a percentage from the Key.
• The Highest 3 Subjects in the Abitur are considered as Advanced Subjects and 15 points
are added to each subject’s percentage.

• The Student has to pass at least seven subjects; each subject has its own coefficient
and note. A combination of the qualifying subjects plus the remaining subjects should

calculated and we choose the highest percentage. We exclude the Arabic,
ED.PHYS.SPORT, TRAV PERS ENC and any subject without coefficient.
• The Qualifying subjects for the Medical School are SC.VIE TERRE, Physique, Chimie,
Mathematique and Anglais.
• The Qualifying subjects for the school of Business & Finance is Mathematique and

MOHE conditions and certificate requirements:
A) Students must pass in at least 8 subjects with one credit each & 40% is taken from them.
B) Students must submit a minimum score of SAT 1 (New) 800 (out of 1600), 60% is taken if
below 1090 and if the score is equal to 1090 or above then 75% is taken.
C) If SAT 2 is taken and the score is 900 (out of 1600) or above then 15% will be added.
2- Admission requirements for the medical schools (Medicine, Dentistry &
Pharmacy) and the theoretical schools (Business & Finance):
A) For the medical school, the 8 subjects must include the following 5 qualifying subjects:

You will be guided on the next steps, deadlines for your acceptance, and tuition and fees payment process. Delaying your acceptance to the provisional offer will automatically place your application in the waiting list.

ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS

Academic Requirements:

  • All applicants should submit original academic certificates, diplomas and transcripts stamped by Egyptian Educational Authorities and Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • All certificates or diplomas from outside Egypt should be stamped by the educational authorities issuing them and the Egyptian embassies of those countries.
  • Official certificate of general secondary education (certified and authenticated).
  • Proof of 12 years of schooling stamped by the school and by the Egyptian Educational Authorities.
  • One recommendation letter preferred from the applicant’s teacher on the school letterhead.
  • Statement of purpose: In 500 words the applicant should highlight the major achievements he/she has done so far and state reasons for his/her interest in the program applying for.

English is the primary official medium of instruction at NGU. NGU recognizes that applicants must have a level of English efficiency to successfully participate in the learning process. Accordingly, applicants need to provide proof for their English Language proficiency to be considered for admissions. School of Pharmacy Scholarship Program:

  2. Applicants must meet all the admissions requirements for the School of Pharmacy at NGU.
  3. Preference will be given to students with outstanding academic achievements who are enrolled in extracurricular activities and/or have community engagement.

Selection Criteria:

the selection criteria are based on some of the following:

  • Academic achievement.
  • Level of English proficiency.
  • Leadership potential.
  • Reliability, dependability, and commitment.
  • Adaption and integration in diverse contexts.
  • Community involvement.
  • Personal values and innovation.

Financial Policy, the scholarship will partially cover the academic tuition fees only 25 % – 50 % of total tuition:

  • The 50% scholarship: a total amount of EGP 58,875 to be paid in two installments.
  • The 25% scholarship: a total amount of EGP 83,312 to be paid in two installments.

The scholarship covers the five academic undergraduate years (10 semesters); based on each semester report. The scholarship will be terminated if a student fails to achieve the required grade of Very Good. If the student wants to continue his study at NGU, the student will have to cover the extra years on her/his own expense.

Application Deadline and Selection Timeline:

  • Eligible applicants will be asked to come for a panel interview.
  • A number of selected scholarship recipients and partial tuition coverage for each selected student will be determined by the panel members based on the above selection criteria.
