Tyra Banks was born on December 4, 1973, in  Inglewood, California. Her mother, Carolyn London, is a medical photographer and her father, Donald Banks, is a computer consultant. Banks has an older brother, Devin. Banks’ parents divorced when she was six years old. She is 79% African, 14% British, 6% Native American, and 1% Finnish.
